100% sourdough bread using organic, locally sourced modern and ancient grains, highlighting the unique terroir of the DMV. All breads are developed by hand and leavened through the natural fermentation of a sourdough starter without the use of any commercial yeast of any kind. The grains are freshly milled and stone-ground into flour, retaining their unique character and flavor all the way through to the final bake. This is real bread and slow food, made of just quality flour, water and salt and a little bit of love.
